UPDATE: Puttar Punctures Potter Power

A New Delhi Court has rejected the lawsuit filed by Warner Bros. against Mirchi Movies of Bollywood, makers of the film Hari Puttar And the Comedy of Terrors. This is clearly a triumph for the underdog who was taken to court by the international giant Warner Bros. The film, originally due for release last September 12 will now be shown in India on September 28.

The power of the Potter franchise has been pricked.

Haaaarrrrwwwwwk...Twooooooooph...Ting!

well that's good news Durano...
I wonder if it will be released over here as I'm sure Charlotte would love to see it (to compare of course ;))

yay!! looked it up on Netflix in the slim hope that it was available at least to "save" ... nope!! I'll have to remember to keep an eye out for this, if ever it his the U.S. shores :)

Hello Kim,

The small fry won over the whale...yeheeeey!

Warn Charlotte that this film may not be as entertaining nor as riveting as any of the Potter series. Lower her expectations so she won't get disappointed.

I don't think these two films are comparable though. If ever, comparisons may be limited to the lead characters' looks. LOL!
:-) --Durano. done!

Hi Lynne,

You're really serious huh? In my case, I would wait for the DVD version. Perhaps a pirated copy even, LOL!

If it's any good, then I'd watch out for it at the cinema. :-) --Durano, done!

I'm glad to hear that!

Who knows, I may see it in Canadian... we have a big Indian community here.

Hi Zhu,

Canada does have a vibrant and sizeable Indian community. The film could be released there after its run in the UK.

Have fun and enjoy the film! :-) --Durano, done!
