Bedding-down in a Beatles Bedroom

After traveling through The Long and Winding Road, I've Got A Feeling that A Hard Days Night hotel is the best place I can Act Naturally. Taking the advice of Dr. Robert, Yesterday, Words of Love from the Day Tripper meant nothing but Misery. What Goes On is that You've Got To Hide Your Love Away Across The Universe, and simply Let It Be. I asked Michelle to "Tell Me Why", but the Devil In Her Heart gave No Reply. She's Leaving Home, she said. "You Can't do That", i pleaded, "We Can Work It Out! Tell Me What You See", I implored, "You Really Got A Hold On Me!" "I'm Looking Through You," she blurted, and "You Won't See Me. Things We Said Today.... What You're Doing... Eight Days A Week...,You Like Me Too Much and I Don't Want To Spoil The Party, so like I said The Night Before, I've got my Ticket To Ride and Don't Bother Me"!

This silly dialog is outrageous, nevertheless it tells a story of sorts... agree?

Liverpool is determined to transform itself into a center of culture and the Beatles are its centerpiece attraction. Recently, Ringo Starr performed in a concert there and Paul McCartney is expected to do the same this February. A Beatles themed Hotel has been established using a Beatles titled song for its name. A Hard Days Night Hotel is a stones throw from the famous Cavern Club, where the Beatles started, has 110 rooms and 2 penthouse suites. It has a wedding Chapel and Civil License office, so couples can get married, have their pictures taken with life sized Beatles photos, and proceed to the suites for their honeymoon decorated with Beatles paraphernalia and playing Beatles music.

The John Lennon suite is decorated in minimalist style with a white baby grand piano, to rekindle images of Lennon performing his hit "Imagine". Owners have had no problem with bookings and they have received inquiries and reservations all over the world. The Beatles have been Liverpool's biggest export and this hotel has done very little sales effort, yet already reaping potential blockbuster benefits. The hotel will open in 45 days.

Beatles fans can get their imaginations going in this hotel, or simply re-live the nostalgia of those carefree and turbulent years of social upheavals, revolutions, permissiveness, philosophical diatribes, exotic substances, and great music that sang and expressed the feelings and conditions of those times and the aspirations of those youthful, would-be revolutionaries.

Those were the days... for that generation. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah! Welcome to reality folks. If it doesn't suit you, blame yourself. You contributed to what it is today. So in your trip down memory lane, don't stay too long, you might find this world to oppressive and do away with yourself. Wait for your retirement boomers - if there's any left for you to spend.

Haaarrrwwwwk...Twooooph...Ting!

I dare say I detect a hint of cynicism in this post Durano. Sup? The brothel that was the revolution for the fab whatever can't be what's turned your submarine a bluer shade of yeller can it?...LOL....PEACE Bro!

Hi Tommy, I don't know if its cynicism but I just feel that some admission of guilt is in order. Surely, a lot of the baby boomers have achieved many great things, movements, advocacies, and so forth, for the benefit of mankind; but the success meter in some areas is sorely wanting. Maybe too much was begun that certain items were left incomplete or half baked. These items were then tagged as failures in concept which led to the practice of even worse methods that brought about abuse and destruction.

Anyway, the Strawberry Fields are in bloom again and Abbey Road had a facelift.nPenny Lane will rise again as the Taxman has lowered interest rates. At least I know that In My Life, There's A Place where I can Follow The Sun - When I'm 64! LOL --Durano, done!

ha Durano
a very entertaining post :)
a Beatles montage....
perhaps there is an opening for the discovery of a new language and what would you call it....
in fact....I think there could be an island retreat designed exclusively for those who turn 64...
imagine the revenue !!!

Hello Kim,

Do You Want To Know A Secret? The Yellow Submarine will be my Ticket To Ride, to the place where A Fool On A Hill sits, beneath the graveyard where Eleanor Rigby lies, and where Mr. Moonlight can shine.

I guess I'm not over this Beatles thing and keep using their song titles to construct a coherent statement! LOL! :-)

An island retreat for those retiring would be a good idea and is currently being done. I can only wish it would be affordable for those who really want a quiet, slow paced life. If I were at that stage and couldn't afford it, I'll Cry Instead! Heh, heh, there I go again. --Durano, done!

and I don't think there is a known cure :)
ah yes an island....or perhaps a small continent....for those who are kind caring and compassionate and are Beatles...Andre Rieu or U2 Fans :)

Agreed Kim,I would love to be in an island continent with Andre Rieu and his fans, U2 and their fans, and all those lovely Beatles fans. It would be Heaven on earth.

The only thing that could beat this would be Kim Barker and her fans. I will be the fan club President!:-) --Durano, done!

I like to see a bedding different on my bed, because i think a new day should be seen enthusiastically and with a different image. We must to renew anything around us and our own energy too. And never neglect or sexual life too. that is really important to the couples around the world.
